11th Competition for

the Cyprus Innovation Award




Awards Ceremony 

The Award Ceremony for the 11th Cyprus Innovation Awards took place on Wednesday November 29th 2017 in Nicosia.

This year's awards were presented by H.E. the President of the Republic Mr Nicos Anastasiades, the Chairman of OEB Mr Christos Michaelides and the Chairman of the Research Promotion Foundation (IPE) Mr Georgios Georgiou.

The 2017 Cyprus Innovation Awards were presented as follows:

  • Innovation Award for the Manufacturing Sector to CYPET TECHNOLOGIES LTD for the design and production of an innovative machine for the production of PET plastic bottles with patented technology.
  • Innovation Award for the Services Sector to CNP CYPRIALIFE LTD for the development and use of a pioneer software for Electronic Customer Needs Analysis. The software is a sales tool designed to accomodate the needs and requests of each customer.
  • Innovation Award for the Public Sector to Kykkos B' Lyceum for the development and implementation of a software for online school management.

The Winners of the Cyprus Innovation Awards 2016 were announced during the 10th Award Ceremony on Monday November 14th 2016, at Hilton Cyprus. The event is organised by the Cyprus Employers & Industrialists Federation (OEB) with the support of the Ministry of Energy Commerce Industry & Tourism and the Research Promotion Foundation.

This year's awards were presented by H.E. the President of the Republic Mr Nicos Anastasiades.

Winners of the Cyprus Innovation Awards 2016



The Cyprus Innovation Awards 2016 were awarded to the following organisations / services:

- Primary Sector: to the Agrotourism enterprise The Land of Dreams for the production of sturgeon fish as well as other services and products

- Manufacturing Sector: to A.C. Technometal Ltd for the design and production of the Thermal Alumimum series of sliding systems Rabel Super Thermal for passive buildings and high performance under extreme weather conditions

- Services Sector: to Axiom Consulting Ltd for the development and commerce of a pioneer software for the management of customer loyalty schemes which allows fast processing of date through a central database system.

- Public Sector: to the Drug Law Enforcement Service of the Cyprus Police for the new innovative rehabilitation service to young individuals.
